THIS IS MY

Confession. I have a deep love for advertising. I believe it’s a true art form, and [as a narrative filmmaker] a very exciting area to create within. I find the juxtaposition between structure and storytelling incredibly rewarding, and always look forward to collaborating with the brands I work with.

Some of my notable works are cataloged above. Click in to see the full project details, peruse the video archive, or -if you’d like to get in touch- send an email.

Target Holiday '22

‘holiday happy place’ Campaign

ROLE // SOCIAL CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR

  • This campaign [titled Holiday Happy Place] was created for Target’s Holiday 2022 season.

As director of the ‘socials unit’, I had the unique challenge of maintaining the look, feel, and energy of the commercial ‘main unit’ campaign and translating that into multiple, original ads for digital platforms.

We incorporated many native-to-social mechanisms in the filming process (tapping, swiping, zooming), whilst maintaining the polished, styled art direction Target is known for.

HOMEGOODS

‘HOME SWEET HOMEGOODS’ Campaign

ROLE // SOCIAL CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR

  • For ‘Home Sweet HomeGoods’, starring Jillian Bell, I came on as consultant and director for some creative behind-the-scenes and social-media specific content.

The mockumentary-style web-series follows Jillian as she moves into a HomeGoods after a particularly bad break-up.

Playing on the mockumenatary format, I worked with the agency [McCann] to create a “confession cam” concept- which would place the camera on our additional characters (Jillian’s sister, Jillian’s ex, various HomeGoods employees, and a rival shopper) and have them share their thoughts.
